  • Overview

    The Midwest–Liberia Trade & Investment Mission is a high-level, deal-oriented international economic delegation designed to connect Midwest based companies with strategic business, trade, and investment opportunities in the Republic of Liberia. Convened under the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Special Envoy for U.S. Trade & Investment (Republic of Liberia), this mission will catalyze sustainable, long-term commercial partnerships between U.S. private-sector firms and Liberian public and private stakeholders.

    June 6–12, 2026

    Travel from Detroit Airport to Liberia.

    Delegation Size

    • Target: 15–20 participating organization
    • Maximum: 25 participants (to preserve quality engagement)

    The Midwest–Liberia Trade & Investment Mission will:

    2. Build Strategic Partnerships
    Connect Midwest companies with Liberian counterparts, diaspora investors, infrastructure partners, and development finance entities.

    3. Offer Curated B2B and G2B Matchmaking
    Structured sessions designed to identify partnership opportunities, investment commitments, and project feasibility.

    4. Advance Actionable Outcomes
    Secure MOUs, Letters of Intent (LOIs), and project development frameworks that move beyond exploratory dialogue.
